So you are organising your hen party or you are the cheif bridesmaid or bridesman and it's your responsibility to make sure it's not only fun but also within the budget. Looking for ideas? Here are some tips ideas and tricks to make sure all goes to plan.

Dance tuition is popular for hen parties because dancing is fun but also a great time for the Bride to let her hair down and connect with her hens. Wether it's just a basic tuition session you want or a full on dance routine that you can all perform at the end of the session, Theres no wonder why dance tuition is a popular choice for hen parties. Get the feminine energy flowing with bellydance, Burlesque, Pole dancing, R&B & samba or try Bollywood Street dance,Tap or African dance if that's your thing. Most cities have many independent dance teacher's that offer hen party tuition.
You can have a lesson in a room or garden (if the weather's good) at home or hire a room or studio. Some teachers add room hire into the cost.

2- Pamper Session, Spa Days & Henna Mendhi Art

Every girl loves a bit of a pamper wether it's having your back massaged, Your nails done, Lovely henna Mendhi body art application, Makeup or your hair did its the ultimate form of relaxation and time out. Having a mobile beauty team or henna mendhi artist come and set up in your home is a good idea if you are on a small budget or you could go all out and book an afternoon at a Salon or a weekend at a posh spa. Many independent salons, Henna Mendhi artists and mobile beauty therapist offer pamper packages. Happy pampering.

If you, The hens or the bride to be is really into the occult and the supernatural this idea will be right up your street. Hiring an independent professional physchic to come to your home or to aa venu of your choice will create an ambience of mystery. You can have a physchic do private readings, Talks, Palm face and lip print reading and Tarot cards.The ideas are endless. Be sure to have nibbles and drinks ready and set the scene in your home.

4- A Good Night Out or a City Weekend Away

This is the traditional way for hens who don't follow any particular religion to celebrate their last night of freedom. Get dressed up and go out in the group and get drunk to have fun. There are many a hen tale told by many wives out there. Wether it's a night out on the local tiles or a night away in a new destination be sure to research your pubs and clubs and don't forget get to dress up the bride to be in those fab L plates and accessories.

Even a couple of quid a week from each hen will mount up. 5- Hen Holiday

Wether it's a long weekend or a nice week away in the sun no one is likely to turn down a holiday.  Pick a destination and see what activities and night life it has to offer. This give a chance to fit in lots of stuff plus you get to see the sights and culture, Have drinks out and around the pool and maybe fit in a Turkish bath / spar spa treatment.

*On a Tight Budget - Hire a caravan, Camping patch on a site, A log cabin, A hotel room or holiday cottage in an area close to where you live. Make sure there's a pub within walking distance if you and the hens are partial to a beverage. Stock the cupboard and fridge with food and drink from your chosen supermarket or shops. Take a throw away barbacue or logs and paraffin if it allows for a camp fire.

6- A Life Art Session

This is a fun experience especially when the bubbly is flowing and let's not forget you get to keep your painting and the memory.

7- Anne Summers or Lingerie Party

This type of party was very popular ten years ago and I went to lots of them. It was a good chance to get together with the girls and buy some lovely lingerie plus there was lots of fun games and drinking.
*Recomendations - Anne Summer Of Course but I wish Victoria's Secret did parties.
*On A Tight Budget - that's the good thing about Anne Summers Parties they cost nothing unless you want to buy something so just have your own budget. Don't forget to set the scene in your home  music nibbles and drinks.

8- All Male Strip Club / Lap Dancing

Us girls are in it for the fun of it and my experience at a friend's hen do was to go to an all male strip club and we had the time of our lives it was hilarious. Some of the dancers where similar to magic Mike (kind of :)) whilst others where not. The club we went to the strippers did not strip off completly. The reason I found it funny was how serious they all took themselves. This is not for everyone so check all the hens are okay with the idea first but my advice is to experience as much as you can in life, we only get one and it doesn't last long.
*Recomendations- Google your nearest all male strip club. If your not into full on bollocko then find somewhere where the dancers keep their pants on because the dancers are not shy and they get up close to you.
*On A Budget - it was £5 a dance twelve years ago which didn't break the bank.

9- Drag Show

This is one of my favourite things to do not only for a hen party but also on a night out. I just love the comedy, The dramatic feminism and the bitchiness. If I where born a man I'd probley be a drag queen.
*Recomendations - Again Liverpool has a lot to offer in the way of drag acts and gay bars / clubs as I am sure most cities have. Google nearest drag shows or acts you can hire close to you.
*On A Budget - See if the nearest city to you has an ametear cabaret show running where the tickets are cheap and they have drag acts in stage honing their craft.

10- A Propa Party

If money is no object to you and there are lots of hens then why not organise a propa party? You could hire a venue or function room, Hire in caterers for a budget or meal, Have a cake entertainment, A DJ and the works. You could hire a band or samba dancers or a belly dancer. Ideas are endless.
