J anuary 2023 was the last intake of new / beginner students.   You are welcome to register an interest in the group and put your self forward and we will contact you if a place becomes available or if the classes open back up publically to mixed ability students. Belly dancing like some other forms of dance and exercise does not require a qualification to be able to teach it however insurance cover and experience is essential.  Currently I am insured by mosaic dance network and am a professional member of Foundationfor community dance. I run my dance sessions in a community dance setting and have studied dance since 1998. I have performed belly dance since 2005 and have had established dance classes since 2013. I have been employed to teach belly dancing for several organisations and at a dance centre and at schools.
